SKIN-PREP spray is intended for use as a filmforming product that, upon application to intact skin, forms a long-lasting barrier that acts as a protective interface between the skin and bodily wastes, fluids, and adhesive dressings. It creates an effective topical barrier between tape and skin and helps reduce the risk of tape stripping. It may also help reduce friction irritation or incontinence-related dermatitis. When following your health-care professionals’ instructions or all product directions listed, this spray can become a convenient tool for your wound care routine. Directions: Wash affected skin area, rinse, and allow to dry thoroughly. Hold the bottle approximately 8" from skin, spray lightly and allow to dry, then spray a second light coat. SKIN-PREP Spray may be removed with soap and water. Do not spray on, or apply directly to, open wounds or mucous membranes. Removal of SKIN-PREP Spray isn't necessary before reapplication. Precautions: SKIN-PREP Spray is flammable; use in a well-ventilated area. If the skin is excoriated, a momentary stinging sensation may be experienced.
